Building Design & Drawing
The construction documentation phase prepares the design for the building stage of your project. Taking the building design concepts developed prior into consideration, the team at JKBD will establish detailed drawings that include:
- Structural designs
- Finalised architecture construction drawings
- Finalised elevations and sections
- Additional details and schedules which enable construction approval
Should the work of other specialist consultants be required, such as a soil report or drainage and structural design drawings, we will work to engage the required assistance. Work schedules and specifications can also be established at this time, which describe the quality of finishes, materials and work necessary to meet the requirements of the client.
Building construction drawings & documentation
We understand that one of the most intricate parts of converting your home or building a brand new one is the overall interior design. In this phase, our designers will work closely with you to develop an interior design that is not only aesthetic, but also practical and conducive to your families unique needs.
Using detailed specifications gathered during the design brief and site analysis, our designers can help to plan the layout of your new space. From selecting finishes to planning the furniture layout, our experts will sketch out exactly what your new home will look like and even travel with you to relevant wholesalers to see materials in-person.
Building permit administration
Undertaking any sort of renovation or building work on your property will typically require either a planning permit, a building permit or both. Planning permits allow you to develop or use the land in a particular way, where building permits certify that the proposed plans comply with the local and state building regulations.
During this phase, JKBD will help to coordinate the necessary permits, ensuring the possibility of bringing your dream designs to life.
